'PEACE LEAGUE' IS SOUTH LONDON'S FOOTBALL LEAGUE FOR SOCIAL HARMONY
The peace League is a league. This is a private run league, which allows teams as long as they have players under age 18 a chance to play exciting football. The league has been set up to create social harmony within the community.
HOW IT WORKS Answer is simple. Each team can submit more than one team at a time if they wish. All they need to do is contact us and register your team or teams. Thereafter each match is simply just £ 10 per game. All you have to do is turn up and pay this at the time of your match. That is it! Simple. Everything else we take care of! Thereafter your team results will be updated and put online, including the league table standings after all games for the day have been played. WHERE ARE MATCHES PLAYED? Matches are played inKennington Park. We provide the goals and set up the pitch with markers etc.
WHAT AGE GROUPS CAN PLAY? Anyone can play. WHAT DAYS ARE MATCHES PLAYED? Matches will be played either on a Saturday or on a Sunday. This will be decided before hand.
HOW LONG DOES THE LEAGUE LAST? The league will run for approx 16 to 20 weekends and at the end of each weekend, the winning team will collect the league trophy.
The Peace league also has four divisions. One is the champions, which is for players under 18 years; the following is the Premier, which is for players under 14. The other division is the junior division, which is for players under 12. Finally the Little soccer boy league is for players U10. A player may not play in a division below their age range. However a player can play in a division above their age group if they coach/manager is okay with this? IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LEAGUES DESCRIBED BELOW CAN CHANGE TO SUIT INDIVIDUAL TEAMS ETC
